The incident of kidnapping another minor Sikh girl from Pakistan and converting to Islam has come to light. This is the second incident in the last one year, before the alleged kidnapping and conversion of a Sikh girl of Nankana Sahib Jagjit Kaur alias Ayesha Bibi.

Pritam Singh , granthi of Gurdwara Panja Sahib , Hasan Abdal, Pakistan gave information about the abduction of his daughter and also expressed the possibility of conversion to Islam.

Pritam’s daughter has been missing from Hasan Abdal for the last ten days. On Friday, Pritam Singh sent a message to the media and some Sikh bodies informing about the incident, Pritam Singh wrote “Meri beti da dharm is wakt khatary vich hai jo is wakt zalima dae sikanjay vich hai (my daughters religion is in danger who is in custody of merciless people at this time )”.

Confirming the incident, Pakistani human rights activist Radesh Singh Tony said that forced conversion had become a regular issue in Pakistan. “The girl is a minor and she was kidnapped about ten days ago, the government should take immediate action to recover the girl and ensure the safety of her and her family.”

Radesh Singh Tony also said, “People are scared, if this issue goes to the media then it brings ignorance not only to the family but also to the community, so everyone tries to hide such incidents. “
