Sikh Forum Honored 23 young Sikhs for creative and innovative work during the lockdown

Youth Progressive Sikh Forum at an event in Chandigarh

23 young budding Sikhs who have done creative and innovative work during the lockout were honored by the Youth Progressive Sikh Forum at an event in Chandigarh. 

Punjab cabinet minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, besides Dr Rajinder Singh ( Raju Chadha) Chairman Waves Group of Companies, Congress MP Jasbir Singh Dimpa and Paramjit Singh Rana attended the event. 

Dr Prabhleen Singh President YPSF said the aim of the contest was to highlight and provide the platform to the upcoming generation. He added that over 400 entries were received out of which 23 winners have been declared. Prize money has been sponsored by Waves Group Chairman Sh. Raju Chadha ji. Winning youth were very happy and they were inspired by such a function. 

Rana Sodhi suggested that YPSF to start such a program for hunting talent in sports to motivate youth towards sports and also announced prizes of Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 31000 for the winners.
