Gurudwara Harminder Sahib Singh, Amritsar

To save ‘Gurdwara Harminder Sahib Singh’, Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji covered the upper part of the gurudwara with gold, so the name is the Golden Temple. It is located in Amritsar, Punjab.
Sri Harimandir Sahib is the most sacred shrine or most prominent gurudwara of Sikh religious people, also known as Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple. It is said about this Gurudwara of Punjab that Guru Har Gobind Singh Ji’s procession passed from here and his Sehra Bandhi ceremony was performed in this city itself. After this, a gurudwara built here and named it Sehra Sahib.

It is located in Bidar in the state and is also famous as a historical place. Every day about 4-5 lakh people come to pay obeisance in this gurudwara.
